NATO: Truth Behind the Screens and the Global Table of Division
A Political-Economic Guide for Young Comrades: The Proletariat Pays the Bill, War Barons Share the Profit

Beyond Theory Books, Lived Truth
A Note to Young Comrades: Marxism is not an abstract philosophy shelved in dusty libraries and debated by academics at podiums; on the contrary, it is life itself embodied in the bus fare you pay every morning, in basic food prices that burn your hand at the market, and in the turning of factory wheels. The overnight rise in fuel prices on the street, the seizure of the interim minimum-wage raise you were owed in July, condemning pensioners to poverty below the hunger line, and rolling out red carpets in Ankara's streets for US President Trump and NATO generals—these are inseparable links of the same capitalist system. Do not forget, comrades: as imperialist war budgets grow, the bread on the working class's table shrinks.
So what does NATO, packaged for days on bourgeois media's flashy screens as "global peace," "international prestige," "diplomatic victory," and a "security shield," actually promise us?
This bloody alliance of capital does not promise us prosperity, technological progress, or peace. NATO promises us the transfer of billions stolen from our labor and taxes to giant arms monopolies, and the conversion of our lands into forward bases for imperialists' hegemony struggles in the Middle East, Caucasus, and Black Sea. The only thing it promises us is endless tensions with our neighbors, diplomatic crises, and the possibility of becoming "cannon fodder" for imperialism's interests in the bloom of youth. What they call "security" is not the security of the poor people but the security of multinational corporations, energy corridors, and profit margins crossing borders. In short, NATO promises us the continuity of exploitation, dependence, and regional destruction.
The meaning of our making this explanation and writing such an agenda assessment in terms of our class stance lies precisely here, in the obligation to expose this truth. Our class stance commands us to read the world not through the rose-tinted glasses the bourgeoisie puts on us but through the uncompromising lens of dialectical materialism. We see this Ankara Summit, which political power tries to force-feed us as "national survival" or "diplomatic success with foreign powers," as a new burden of domination placed on the working class's back and a new chain of dependence hung around our country's neck.
This text is not merely an informational note; it is a tool for determining our class's independent, anti-imperialist, and internationalist course. While the bourgeoisie applies something like de facto martial law in Ankara to hide its war preparations from view, we are obliged to carry truth to the street in the light of reason and science. Young comrades, our power to shake the system from its foundations begins with our ability to see the class bond between these events.
Now let us approach this historical and political matter with eyes that know nothing yet but with the working class's sharp mind, and begin examining how this bloody war table was set—with chronological details and philosophical roots.
Chronological Background: What NATO Is and What It Is Not
Dear young comrades, bourgeois ideologues and their schoolbooks tell history as a whole of decisions taken by "great men" or "sacred states." Yet with Karl Marx's immortal observation—"The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles"—we cannot read NATO's (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) history as merely a history of international relations or diplomacy. NATO's history is the military history of the bloody class war global capitalism wages against the world working class and oppressed peoples.
Bourgeois media tells you NATO is a "democracy bloc" or a "defense shield." So what is NATO not? NATO is never a peace force, a guarantor of freedoms, or a shield protecting countries' independence.
Then what is NATO? NATO is an armed gendarme designed to protect imperialist bourgeois property, profit rates, and the order of exploitation worldwide; an international counter-guerrilla organization established to crush revolutions.
To understand how this giant war machine reached today's Ankara Summit (NATO 3.0), we must examine the process by dividing it into three main historical stages through a dialectical materialist method:
First Stage: NATO 1.0 (Founding, Anti-Communism, and the Cold War, 1949–1991)
The Second World War had ended. The prestige of the Soviet Red Army that crushed fascism had spread across the world; in Europe (especially Italy and France) the working class had reached a force that could take power around communist parties. In Asia and Africa anti-imperialist national liberation movements were flaring. The new patron of global capital, the United States, had to prevent the collapse of the capitalist system and stop the "communist specter."
NATO was founded in 1949 directly as a military barrier against the Soviet Union, rising socialism, and working-class movements.
Turkey's Entry into NATO and the Bloody Price: Our country's bourgeoisie (the Democrat Party government of that period) put our people's independence on the market to enter US hegemony and join the imperialist caravan. The Truman Doctrine and Marshall Plan praised in schoolbooks are in reality documents of Turkey's economic independence being surrendered to US monopolies. It is a dependency construction that makes children in villages producing their own milk drink the US's surplus "milk powder."
Imperialism demanded a "blood price" to accept Turkey into NATO. Poor village and worker children from Anatolia were sent as "cannon fodder" to the Korean War (1950), thousands of kilometers away where we had no interest. More than 700 of our youth died in Asian steppes for American capital's interests. In 1952 we became a NATO member with this bloody ticket.
This membership brought not only external dependence but injected poison into Turkey's capillaries: the Special War Department (Gladio/Counter-Guerrilla). This secret paramilitary structure established under NATO's umbrella murdered revolutionaries, patriots, trade unionists, and intellectuals in Turkey for decades. From bloody May Day 1977 to the 12 September 1980 fascist coup, behind every tread and every baton crushing the Turkish working class stood this anti-communist mechanism NATO built.
Second Stage: NATO 2.0 (Post-Socialism Expansionism and Market Wars, 1991–2022)
In 1991 the Soviet Union collapsed and the Warsaw Pact was dissolved. Someone thinking with formal logic asks: "If NATO was a defense organization established against communism and the Soviet threat, shouldn't NATO also dissolve when the enemy disappeared?"
It did not dissolve, comrades. On the contrary, it grew larger. Because Marxist science shows us that imperialism by its nature needs new markets, cheap raw materials, and energy corridors. For arms monopolies to profit, new enemies must be created. NATO was no longer a "defense" organization but imperialism's offensive force.
The US and NATO tore up and threw away the promise "We will not expand one inch eastward" they gave Soviet leaders as the Cold War ended. They swallowed former Eastern Bloc countries one by one and began encircling Russia. NATO tanks and planes did not stay only in Europe; they tore Yugoslavia apart and created lakes of blood in the Middle East (Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq) with the lie of "bringing democracy." The fundamental reason for the war fear in Eastern Europe today and the destructive war erupting in Ukraine is imperialism's this insatiable expansionism and hunger to seize new geographies geoeconomically (controlling economic resources through military force).
Third Stage: NATO 3.0 (Global Militarism and the Ankara Summit, 2026)
Come to the show we watched in Ankara's streets today. Capitalism's structural crisis is deepening; as US global hegemony shakes, China's economic and technological rise terrifies Western imperialism.
The new concept called "NATO 3.0" today is a project to turn not only Europe but the entire world from Asia-Pacific to the Black Sea, from the Caucasus to the Middle East into a battlefield. In NATO documents Russia is now coded as an "open target" and China as a "systemic threat." The matter is not "Europe's security"; the matter is who will control the global artificial intelligence race, rare earth elements, and sea trade routes.
Here is what US President Trump imposed at those flashy tables in Ankara: "You will allocate at least five percent of your GDP to defense (i.e., to weapons)!" With a merchant's mind Trump sat at the table and turned NATO into a collection mafia. Western imperialism tries to dump its own war burden on subcontractor (sub-imperialist) countries like Turkey.
Moral of the Story: Young comrade, hammer this historical chronology into your mind. If NATO flags wave in Ankara today, know that Turkey's resources will flow not to education, health, dormitories, housing, and youth's future but to Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, and local arms barons' coffers. NATO's history is the history of our impoverishment for capital's enrichment.
The Political Economy of the Ankara Summit: The Ritual of "Growing Capital with Blood"
Dear young comrades, bourgeois economists present the economy as a merely "technical" field of numbers, graphs, and stock indices. Yet Marxist philosophy and its strongest weapon—political economy—teach us that the economy is directly a relation of class domination. State budgets are the concrete political document of from whom taxes are taken and to which classes those taxes are transferred.
Current data and the working class's righteous cry in the street lay bare very clearly what the 36th NATO Summit gathered in Ankara in July 2026 is at its core: This summit is, as our comrades in Batıkent shouted too, in the full sense a "summit growing capital with blood."
Arms Monopolies' Profit Hunger and the Order of Plunder
While capitalism tries to overcome its structural crisis with claims of an AI revolution and market share, it draws its ammunition from war and blood. Meetings behind closed doors in Ankara have turned into feast tables for global arms barons:
- Today NATO member states' total military spending has exceeded $1.3 trillion.
- At military forums in Ankara, war barons shared a giant pie of $11 billion among themselves in a single day.
- In the outcome declaration published after the summit, not peace but commitment to new defense and arms purchases of more than $50 billion was pledged to the world's peoples.
These giant figures do not fall from the sky, comrades. These billions mean seizure by imperialist states of surplus value produced by the world working class and direct transfer of this resource to the coffers of Lockheed Martin, Boeing, or their local collaborating arms companies.
The "Belt-Tightening" Lie and the People's Stolen Bread
When it comes to workers and laborers, the bourgeoisie clings to the lie "no resources," "budget deficit," "inflation will rise." Yet the same power does not hesitate to spend the people's billions recklessly so NATO's bloody wheels keep turning. The biggest imposition behind the Ankara Summit was cementing the obligation for member countries to raise military spending to at least 2% of gross domestic product (GDP).
Moreover, while US President Trump conditions member countries on raising this rate to 5%, the Political Islamist government has not lagged behind and proudly announced it is already taking measures to raise Turkey's military spending to 5% before 2030.
So what does raising military spending to 5% mean in political-economic terms? Never forget this: The war budget is the social destruction budget.
Political-Economic Truth: Directing resources to armament, missile shields, and the war industry means directly cutting and burying in weapons the budget that would go to infrastructure, public services, green transition, pension spending, education, and the right to health.
While capital grows with blood, let us clarify the painful truth falling to the proletariat (working class) with a table:
| Bourgeois War Show and Luxury | Exploitation the Working Class and People Live |
|---|---|
| $50 billion in new arms orders announced at the NATO Summit. | The heavy fuel price hike of 31 kuruş per liter on the day the summit was held. |
| $11 billion in profit split by war barons in one day. | Forgetting the interim raises due in July for minimum-wage workers and pensioners. |
| 181 million TL in screens covering shantytowns before foreign guests' eyes to hide poverty. | Seizure of society's real security: free healthcare, quality education, humane housing, and clean water. |
The Aesthetics of Class Hypocrisy: Screens and Prayer Rugs
To understand capitalism's moral decay philosophically, it is enough to look at these two scenes in Ankara's streets:
-
Screen Politics: So foreign imperialist guests and multinational journalists would not see them, the government closed off Ankara's shantytowns and deep poverty with giant screens at a cost of 181 million TL. The bourgeoisie is ashamed of the destitution it created, hiding the people behind screens to build a fake "Strong Turkey" Potemkin village.
-
Continuation of the 6th Fleet Mentality: Those who talk "local, national, and conservative" rhetoric outward, distracting the masses with Gaza and Palestine discourse, when it came to welcoming Trump stood at attention with turquoise guards at airports, rolled out carpets, and as it were prostrated themselves before American imperialism waging war against communism. The bloody market mentality that in 1969 prostrated before the American 6th Fleet anchored at Dolmabahçe and attacked revolutionary youth protesting imperialism with knives continues today in Ankara, renewing vows.
In conclusion, comrades, the Ankara Summit is not a security meeting. This summit is the ritual of militarizing Atlantic capitalism's crisis, cutting the bill to the working class, and converting the sweat of laborers in Gebze, Vardiya, and Batıkent into bombs. While the bourgeoisie sets the world on fire for its profit hunger, the people pay the bill.
The Turkish Bourgeoisie's U-Turn and Sub-Imperialist Role
Dear young comrades, bourgeois opposition and liberal academics often explain authoritarianism, repression, and law violations in Turkey as "drifting from the West" or an "axis shift." For them the government has broken from Western rationality and turned entirely eastward. Marxist philosophy and political economy show us this refrain is entirely hollow lies.
The Ankara Summit in July 2026 registered that the Turkish bourgeoisie is articulated to the Atlantic military and security architecture with deeper ties than ever, and that internal authoritarianism is a functional part of this integration. Now let us examine this sharp turn and the class mission assigned to the Turkish bourgeoisie under subheadings:
Collapse of the Fake "Strategic Autonomy" Parenthesis
The ruling classes governing Turkey tried to play a double game in foreign policy according to their interests in the recent past:
- AKP governments developed an anti-Western discourse between 2014 and 2020, with Russia's military expansion and China's economic rise at their back.
- This discourse was used as ground for seeking "balance and strategic autonomy" in foreign policy.
- But capitalism's laws are merciless; as a weak link in the imperialist chain, the price of this independence game was paid through heavy economic and political crises between 2020 and 2025.
- To overcome the crisis it was dragged into and keep its power, which had lost mass support, standing through repression and bullying, the ruling class executed the sharpest U-turn in Turkish foreign policy in republic history.
- Russia and China, praised yesterday as balancing elements, were defined as "threats" by Ankara itself at this summit; the previous period's autonomy claims were thrown entirely in the trash.
Practical Steps of Surrender and Integration
While bourgeois diplomacy proceeds behind closed doors, the bill of surrender has been loaded onto our class's back through military and economic agreements. Ankara took these practical steps for full integration into the Atlantic system, saying "Again, Anew, Once More NATO":
- Aircraft were purchased from Britain before the summit; giant defense industry partnerships were established with Italian and French companies.
- New NATO military structures were built directly in the Straits and Adana; NATO-framed military cooperation in the Black Sea was accelerated.
- During the summit, with billions of dollars in new agreements, engine sales to domestic Kaan aircraft were secured and placement of new Patriot missile systems in various regions of the country was decided.
- Most painfully, political power openly declared its effort to place Turkey's huge land force at the alliance's service and its commitment to raise the defense budget to 5%.
Not a Servile Patron Relationship but Sub-Imperialist Partnership
Historical Truth: Young comrades, seeing the Turkish bourgeoisie's relation with NATO as merely a "patron-servant" or "puppet" relationship leads us into error. In class struggle, as Marxist stance and our comrade Elif Çağlı clearly emphasize, the Turkish bourgeoisie is not a passive victim within this bloody crime organization but participates according to its own class and economic interests.
Turkey is a sub-imperialist power in the capitalist world. By growing its own military-industrial complex it wants to grab a share of the Middle East pie, carve roles from imperialist division struggles in the Caucasus, Black Sea, and North Africa. NATO's multinational headquarters to be established in Adana and the naval command in Istanbul are concrete signs of the bourgeoisie's hunger to intervene in these regions and grab market share at the cost of new tensions with neighbors. Reducing imperialism only to the US and ignoring our own ruling class's role in this partnership in crime is incompatible with Marxist independence struggle.
West-Guided Authoritarianism and Internal Front Martial Law
Our cities being put under siege before the Ankara Summit, hundreds of socialists, trade unionists, lawyers, and comrades being detained in home raids in reverse handcuffs is not a random glitch outside the summit.
Western capitalism and the finance system do not care about our democracy, human rights, or press freedom. On the contrary, from the perspective of the new security architecture and war concept, a suppressed labor movement, a restricted political sphere, and an authoritarianized state apparatus is an extremely functional form of rule.
While the bourgeoisie renews vows with imperialist masters abroad and signs new war contracts, internally it must silence the working class that would oppose these policies and demand the budget go to the people not weapons. Through de facto martial law practices, while entering a process toward an electionless Turkey, the aim is silence—and assurance to imperialism that "our internal front is solid."
Long-Term Global Dangers: Ukraine, Iran, and China Hostility
Dear young comrades, to fully grasp the philosophical and political-economic background of decisions imperialism took at the Ankara Summit, we must have an internationalist vision that sees the world as a whole. As the great revolutionary Lenin showed in his theory of Imperialism, when capitalism reaches the monopolistic stage, raw material sources, energy corridors, and market areas in the world are completely divided among giant monopolies. After this division is complete, a new struggle to redivide the world begins among imperialist blocs wanting to increase profit rates.
Openly exposed decisions and leaders' statements lay before us how they are dragging humanity toward long-term, irreversible global catastrophe, even dynamics of a third world war. Let us analyze these global dangers through a dialectical lens, permitting no liberal distortion:
Protracted Proxy War in Ukraine and "War Baronry"
Bourgeois media polishes the Ukraine War as "a war between democracy and dictatorship." Yet at its root lies imperialism's historical hypocrisy:
- Broken Promises: The fundamental reason for war fear in Eastern Europe and tragedy in Ukraine is Western imperialism's and NATO's failure to keep the promise of "no eastward expansion" given to Russia after the Cold War.
- Proxy War: NATO uses the Ukrainian people's lives and land as a shield for Western finance capital's interests. Ukrainian Leader Zelensky's attending the summit and praising imperialist arms and war with "You are successfully hitting Russia, thank you" registered that the crisis will be extended as a war of attrition for Western capital rather than resolved diplomatically.
- Profit-Oriented Militarism: Neither the Ukrainian nor the Russian people profit from this war. The winners are not Western peoples whose budget deficits grow while social spending is cut but giant arms companies breaking profit records.
Hot War Threat Against Iran and the Hormuz Vise
One of the Ankara Summit's most dangerous and least discussed agenda items is the strategy of encircling Iran, which would set the Middle East entirely ablaze:
- Strait of Hormuz Pressure: At the summit US President Trump harshly criticized European and NATO allies for not taking responsibility for security of the Strait of Hormuz, the lifeline of global oil trade. While the US focuses on the great reckoning in Asia-Pacific, it wants to hand the Middle East gendarme role to regional partners.
- Front Role Assigned to Turkey: Trump's statement referring to Turkey's past stance on the Iran crisis—"They could have entered the war on the other side too; Turkey was more helpful than many traditional allies"—is open proof of how the ruling classes want to turn our country into a logistical and military front in a possible Iran war.
- Table of Bloody Alliances: The invitation to HTS jihadist leader Colani in non-NATO Syria, Gulf emirs, and Azerbaijan's bourgeoisie to this summit is the concrete announcement of NATO 3.0's plan to turn our geography into a giant front line encircled with new military bases from the Black Sea through the Caucasus to the Middle East.
The Real Great Reckoning: China Hostility and Western Capitalism's Panic
Although NATO's latest strategic concepts show Russia as an "open target," the great nightmare keeping Western imperialism awake is China's economic and technological rise. Western capital militarizes the entire world to preserve global hegemony:
- Technology and Energy Wars: The matter is no longer only gaining territory; it is control of energy routes, trade balances, microchip and artificial intelligence technologies. Imperialists try to stop China's enormous production power governing the world's real economy through military force (geoeconomics).
- Imperialist Hubris Confessed: The words Trump uttered at the joint press conference at Beştepe are, from a Marxist philosophical perspective, a tragicomic document of bourgeois reason:
"I spoke with President Xi, I said you won't go to war... I don't like President Xi either. On TikTok I explain how bad communism is but I'm number one."
Trump's words are the outward expression of Western imperialism's deep hegemony crisis and ideological helplessness. On one side those drenching the world in blood with billion-dollar arms contracts; on the other an American president trying to manipulate the masses saying "On TikTok I badmouth communism." Yet dialectical materialism shows us that no social media manipulation or military buildup can eliminate capitalism's inevitable structural collapse and that great historical contradiction between the class holding means of production and the producing class.
Philosophical and Political Conclusion: Fortifying the Internal Front and Martial Law
Dear young comrades, the greatest illusion of bourgeois liberalism and its left-appearing tailists is explaining authoritarianism, repression, and law violations in our geography as "drifting from the West" or an "axis shift." For them Western civilization means "democracy, human rights, and law"; therefore if a country is authoritarianizing it must be drifting from the West.
The Ankara Summit in July 2026 philosophically uprooted this ahistorical and idealist refrain. Dialectic's merciless law shows us: The more Turkey is articulated to the West's military and security architecture, the more the state authoritarianizes internally, the political sphere narrows, and social opposition is criminalized.
Western Imperialism's Hypocrisy: Not Democracy but Functionality
Marxist state theory teaches us the bourgeois state is the ruling class's apparatus of repression. On the international plane too imperialist blocs demand not "democracy" from allied countries but "functionality" suited to their material interests.
- Western capital never experiences an ethical dilemma between democracy and geopolitical interests; it always acts according to material interests that will secure its surplus-value exploitation and military logistics.
- In NATO 3.0's new global war concept, a working class whose rights are trimmed and trade union struggle suppressed, a political sphere with opposition silenced, and an authoritarianized state mechanism is not a "malfunction" for imperialism but on the contrary an extremely functional form of rule working smoothly.
- Because the only way to cut billions in war budgets from the people's throat and transfer them to arms monopolies, to turn cities into military fronts, is to silence with violence the worker, pensioner, and youth who would say "no resources for us but yes for NATO."
De Facto Martial Law in Ankara and "Internal Front" Assurance
The state terror we witnessed in Ankara's streets and across the country while the summit continued is a class guarantee the rulers give their imperialist masters. As Fatih Yaşlı expressed very clearly in his article in soL:
"With NATO Summit precautions, assurance is given to imperialism on the solidity of the internal front, and while entering a phase where the electionless Turkey process will deepen further, de facto martial law propaganda is conducted so not a peep is heard."
As a result of this class fear, a chain of political operations under the name of "preventive detention" was launched unjustly and unlawfully even before the summit began. The mere possibility of action by left socialist structures from EMEP to SOL Party, TKP, and the Workers' Party of Turkey was enough to make the bourgeoisie tremble. Hundreds of people's homes were raided; journalists, academics, jurists, and socialists were detained in reverse handcuffs and arrested. Patriots using constitutional rights in the street to say "NATO get out! This country is ours" had ribs broken and suffered skull trauma. Meetings, demonstrations, and marches were completely banned and the entire country was turned into something like an open-air prison.
Meanwhile the luxury tables prepared for American President Trump at a restaurant in Ankara, the chair polished days in advance for him to sit in, and that magnificent courting displayed before imperialism are the clearest political cartoon of collaborating bourgeois reaction's colonial mind. A billionaire imperialist declaring war on Marx and communism with TikTok videos and the local ruling class with its mouth inside his mouth are fully aware of the historical antagonism.
The Final Question and Call to Comrades: Which Class Will Pay the Price?
Dear young comrades, we have torn piece by piece the veil of lies over this flashy militarism theater displayed in Ankara's streets in July 2026, over warplanes flown in the sky, and over feast tables prepared for Trump at Beştepe's gates. Now it is time to strike the uncompromising, sharp sword of dialectical materialism at its very center, melt everything in one crucible, and ask that vital, historical question: Which class will pay the price of this bloody game, of these escalated war budgets?
The Bill of War on the Working Class's Table
While the bourgeoisie's agencies tell you "global security" fairy tales, the unshakable political-economic truth we prepared with a Marxist vision and inscribed line by line to keep our memory alive shows itself plainly in the street: War budgets, low wages, minimum-wage workers whose rights are seized, and pensioners abandoned to hunger are not separate results of separate policies; all are linked rings of the same capitalist exploitation mechanism.
The decision emerging from the Ankara Summit's luxury halls is an open economic assault on the working class. While ruling classes promise allies to look sweet by sacrificing 5% of the budget directly to multinational arms monopolies, the same-day fuel hike of 31 kuruş per liter is no accident. While war barons share $11 billion in profit in one day, your share is forgotten interim raises in July, unpayable university fees, and futurelessness. While the bourgeoisie grows its profit rates with blood, the bill is paid by the worker leaving shift in Gebze, the peasant exploited in the field, youth whose future is stolen.
Security Is Not in Bombs but in Independence and Socialism
Every missile shield and every military base they place before us in the name of "security" is in reality a shackle protecting the order of exploitation. The "security" they protect is not that of the poor people but of energy corridors, stock indices, and multinational corporations' profit margins.
Historical and Class Truth: Society's real security is not secured with billions of dollars invested in weapons, Patriot missile systems, and imperialist operations. Real security lies in free and quality education every youth has a right to, free healthcare every citizen has a right to, humane housing, clean water, secure work, and a free life.
Therefore we uncompromisingly reject becoming imperialism's "cannon fodder" and turning our geography into a military front from the Black Sea to the Middle East. Our security is not under NATO's bloody umbrella but in the struggle for full independence and socialism against imperialism and its local collaborators.
Comrades, It Is Time to Rise!
While the bourgeoisie renews vows with imperialist masters abroad and signs contracts for new wars of division, internally it declares de facto martial law so not a peep is heard against this plunder order, puts streets under siege, detains socialist comrades in reverse handcuffs. So the deep poverty they created does not catch foreign diplomats' eyes, they draw shame screens costing 181 million TL before shantytowns.
But they forgot one thing: neither detention terror nor false screens will suffice to hide the working class's anger and truth. The sole force that will break this siege and tear off the nationalist and chauvinist blindfolds they want to tie over our eyes is the organized power of proletarian internationalism and the independence struggle.
The answer to the Ankara Summit's real question will rise not from marble halls but from factories, campuses, and barricades.
Young comrades who turn factory wheels, walk the streets, scratch out the future with your fingernails! Let us unite our voice, anger, and struggle against the imperialist war machine NATO, its local collaborating bourgeois reaction, and class exploitation.
- No to war budgets, yes to a budget for humane living!
- NATO get out, this country is ours!
- Long live a fully independent and socialist Turkey!
