Focusing on Facts and Process: In criticism we reject the language of "you" and person-centered attacks; we go directly after claims, data, and the historical-materialist context.

Class Hygiene Against Fallacy: We keep dialectical clarity by purging from our ranks the logical deceptions that belong to bourgeois rhetoric, such as ad hominem (attack on the person), the straw man (distorting the argument), and appeal to authority.

The Maturity of Self-Criticism: Being able to take a step back in the face of a just criticism, to accept the error and correct it, is a sign of revolutionary will; it does not diminish the person, it enlarges the theoretical line.
