Thiel's Dialog Barricades - Technofeudalism Organizing in Digital Castles

Comrade, the world we are living through in 2026 is the clearest indicator of how far capitalism's material productive forces (artificial intelligence, automation, quantum computing) have reached within its own womb, and at the same time of how the existing relations of production (private property, the profit motive) cannot bear these forces and are driving a global decay.

While billionaire techno-oligarchs fortify their class interests in hidden castles, our task is not to produce abstract, airy utopias, but to dissect the enemy's most up-to-date anatomy and to build a grounded class counter-strategy distilled from today's objective contradictions.

Peter Thiel and the Class Anatomy of "Dialog" Meetings

Peter Thiel is not an ordinary Silicon Valley venture capitalist or merely a far-sighted technocrat. He is the most reactionary, most militant, and most class-conscious techno-feudal vanguard figure that late capitalism and global finance capital have produced. From PayPal to Palantir, which builds the intelligence and surveillance infrastructure of states; from Founders Fund, which directs major investments, to the shadow partnership in the privatization of the agora (Twitter/X), Thiel is the mind that rewrites the dictatorship of capital in digital code.

Dystopian Dreams and Method: "Dark Enlightenment"

The structure Thiel philosophically and classically represents is the Neoreactionary (NRx) / Dark Enlightenment current, which openly rejects Enlightenment values, equality, and human rights. The dream of Thiel and his allies is a world in which nation-states have completely dissolved and been replaced by sovereign corporate city-states ruled by CEOs acting as absolute sovereigns. Seasteading projects (tax-free and lawless floating cities in international waters), the monopolization of artificial intelligence, and life-extension technologies accessible only to elites are the material pillars of this dystopian dream.

Behind the Curtain of Recent "Dialog" Meetings

The "Dialog" meetings founded by Thiel, which in recent times have turned into strategic headquarters as global crises deepen, are the most refined class organization of the bourgeoisie. In these latest meetings, conducted entirely closed to the press and off the record, the class position and strategies of the techno-oligarchs have crystallized along the following current lines:

  • Direct Occupation of the State Apparatus: The main agenda of recent Dialog meetings is no longer to influence states from the outside through lobbying, but to seize state mechanisms from within through technocrats themselves. By paralyzing regulatory institutions, they aim to remove all public oversight over artificial intelligence and data mining.
  • Accelerationism: At the meetings, the chaos created by social opposition and economic crises is discussed as an "accelerator" to legitimize authoritarian techno-governance. The mass unemployment that artificial intelligence will create is not a crisis for them, but a disciplinary tool that will fully pacify labor.

The Holy Trinity of Technofeudalism: Money, Data, and the Walled Agora

In classical feudalism, the feudal lord owned the land, the peasant's labor, and the church (ideology). Today's techno-feudal lords have completed the holy trinity of digital sovereignty by achieving the most concentrated monopolization human history has ever seen:

Money (Capital Monopoly)

Investment decisions are distributed not according to social needs or humanity's common welfare, but according to the ideological agendas and profit rates of the closed networks these oligarchs have built. Venture capital swallows productive industry and alone determines the direction of money's flow.

Data (The New Digital Serfdom)

Data, the most valuable raw material of our age, is expropriated as surplus value for free from the digital footprints of billions of people. The raw data we produce is turned into algorithmic weapons to manipulate us more effectively, manufacture our consent, and further devalue living labor.

Agora (The Privatized Public Sphere - Twitter/X)

The "Agora" (public square), the heart of politics and philosophy in ancient Greece, is today digital platforms. Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter (X) and the shadow partnership of actors like Thiel in this process is the most concrete example of the complete privatization of the agora. Who may speak, which idea will trend, and which social opposition will be made invisible (shadowbanning) are no longer decided by the people, but by the algorithmic filters of these oligarchs. Humanity's common communication infrastructure has been turned into private property.

"The capitalist who once took a share from the worker to enter his factory has now become a techno-feudal lord who collects 'data and consent rent' from all humanity that wishes to speak its mind, receive news, and socialize."

Class Organization Against Class Organization: The Technology Proletariat and Alliances

What Thiel displays at the "Dialog" tables is the refined and coordinated class solidarity of the bourgeoisie. They set aside their competition among themselves and organize around the question: "How do we keep humanity subjugated with algorithms?" The only way to stand against this organized elitism is not abstract calls for peace, but a symmetrical class organization rising from the heart of production.

The Historical Role of the American Working Class and Technology Workers

A class awakening in the heart of the imperialist system, in the United States, will cut the lifeblood of global technofeudalism. Here, the merger of two critical forces is vital: the historical alliance of the "blue-collar" traditional working class with "white-collar" cognitive/technological workers:

  • The Class Consciousness of Technology Workers: Software developers, data analysts, and artificial intelligence engineers working at Google, Meta, Palantir, or OpenAI must stop seeing themselves as "privileged elites." At the end of the day, they too survive by selling their labor, are exploited, and have the value they create expropriated by Silicon Valley oligarchs—they are modern components of the proletariat. They share the same class fate as precarious data-labeling workers (digital precariat) around the world.
  • Power Derived from Production: If engineers in Silicon Valley join hands and organize with logistics workers in Amazon warehouses, the servers, algorithms, and surveillance networks Thiel so trusts become nonfunctional in an instant. The decisions taken at the bourgeoisie's "Dialog" tables are paralyzed by the working class's power derived from production.

A Realistic Cyber-Socialist Horizon: The Political Economy of the Future

So what should a more realistic, grounded alternative future look like in a society organized with this class stance? Instead of a dreamy utopia, we must put before us a Cyber-Socialism model that plans the transitional stages step by step.

Step 1: Nationalization of Digital Infrastructure and Data (Commons-Building)

The first and most realistic goal is to take ownership of the internet, cloud servers, big data infrastructures, and communication networks (X/Twitter, Google infrastructures, etc.) out of the hands of these oligarchs. Data will cease to be a corporate secret hoarded for monopolistic profit and will be declared a "public commons" (digital commons). Artificial intelligence models will be made available to all humanity as open source.

Step 2: Algorithmic People's Planning

Instead of the profit-driven blind logic of market anarchy, artificial intelligence and big data optimizations will be used for the rational distribution of social needs. Algorithms that create artificial scarcity to increase companies' stock value will be recoded to plan agricultural production, food distribution, health services, and housing construction while respecting ecological balances. Production will be for people (use value), not for profit (s).

Step 3: Radical Reduction of Working Hours (Free Time)

Automation and artificial intelligence, which under capitalism threaten workers with unemployment, will become humanity's greatest lever of emancipation under cyber-socialist planning. The tremendous increase in productivity brought by technology will be used to radically reduce mandatory weekly working hours (for example, to 10 hours).

The New Measure of Wealth = Free Time

The measure of wealth will not be accumulated capital, but the free time a person possesses—the time to realize oneself, to engage with art, science, and philosophy.

The Fall of the Castles — Humanity's Existential Threshold

Peter Thiel and the techno-oligarchs gathered at his "Dialog" tables are the architects of a global caste system that aims not only to exploit humanity economically, but to liquidate it biologically and existentially. Historical materialism's sharpest warning enters precisely at this point: If ownership of the means of production (especially artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation) remains in the hands of this minority, we will roll down from the threshold of the darkest, most irreversible dystopia in human history.

This is not a prophecy, but the inevitable dialectical outcome to which the logic of capital accumulation must arrive.

Capital's Final Filter: From "Surplus Population" to the "Useless Class"

In the classical capitalist period, the working class, despite all its misery, was an indispensable element for the system. As Karl Marx clearly laid out, capital needed living labor to produce surplus value, and the army of the unemployed (surplus population) was kept only as a reserve force to suppress wages. The capitalist, even if he hated the worker, needed his existence.

At the dawn of technofeudalism, this equation is being barbarically altered:

  • The Complete Liquidation of Labor: Artificial intelligence and full automation have the capacity to completely exclude cognitive and physical labor from the production process. Capital is entering a stage where it no longer needs the living labor of the masses to sustain its own cycle.
  • The "Useless Class" Technique: A global "useless class" (the useless class) consisting of billions of people whom the system no longer finds worth exploiting, cast outside the surplus-value mechanism, is being created. For capitalist rationality, a person who cannot be exploited is superfluous expense.
  • Closure and Isolation: The future the rulers offer these billions is not a welfare society. They will be condemned behind smart-city barricades, outside Frontex-style militarized border walls, in refugee camps, and in algorithmically ghettoized digital prisons. Capital will not feed these masses it no longer needs; it will make them invisible and suppress them.

Automated Barbarism: An Irreversible Dystopia

If urgent measures are not taken against this trajectory, the revolutionary windows before humanity face the danger of being physically closed. In the past, tyrannies depended on the consent and obedience of the armies and police (that is, still human beings) who would take to the streets. A soldier could switch sides; a police officer could join the people.

The dystopian dream of the techno-feudal lords eliminates this human factor as well:

"When swarms of autonomous killer drones, AI-based mass surveillance systems, and predictive policing software like Palantir are perfected, the oligarchy will have established a monopoly of violence that does not depend on human disobedience. Resisting with traditional methods against algorithms that have no conscience, no class consciousness, and no sense of fatigue will become impossible."

They hold the money, they hold the data, and they hold the algorithms that control the agora. If this infrastructure is not reclaimed by humanity, the future for the overwhelming majority of humanity will be nothing other than algorithmic serfdom, struggling to survive in the masters' garbage dump.

Time Is Running Out: Urgent Intervention on Behalf of Humanity, by Humanity

The only solution to this existential threat does not lie in the ineffective legal reforms of liberal institutions or in concessions from the fake "ethics boards" of technology giants. The solution is urgent, radical, and mass class intervention to be produced on behalf of humanity, by humanity.

  • A Historical Race: This is a race against time between the working class and the techno-feudal lords. Before the walls of the technological castles are fully fortified with automated destruction and surveillance systems, the technology workers, logistics laborers, and the entire world proletariat who create and operate those castles must halt production and seize ownership.
  • Human Responsibility to Human: Preventing billions of people from being declared "useless" and abandoned to death and isolation is a question of collective human dignity. We must wrench technology from the hands of these oligarchs and purge production of the hunger for profit.

Building that post-capitalist tomorrow in which artificial intelligence and automation are nationalized, production is algorithmically planned according to use value, and the measure of wealth is not capital but "Free Time" is no longer merely a political choice; it is the only way out for the human species to preserve its own existence.

We will tear down the castles; because if those castles are not torn down, what will remain beneath them is the entire heritage of humanity. It is time to re-arm that Promethean will that snatches fire from the hands of tyrants and to conquer the agora!

Against capital's strategy of liquidating humanity as a "useless class" and this automated monopoly of violence, what do you think the "First Material Blockade" (the most strategic production/data veto) should be that cognitive workers in the technology world (developers, engineers) and blue-collar workers, the physical muscle of production, could jointly organize in factories and data centers to eliminate this existential threat?
